Our Cardiology Team

Dr. Fazal Karim
MD (Medicine) & DM (cardiology)
Dr. Fazal Karim has joined the cardiac team at ELMC&H in October 2015. He brings with him a rich experience of cardiology and a trained in MD internal medicine from the prestigious PGIMER Chandigarh and DM Cardiology from Advanced cardiac centre PGI MER Chandigarh. He worked at the Fortis Hospital Mohali which is known for cutting edge services in Cardiology. His motto is “Cardiac care for all”.

Dr.Irshad Ahmed Wani-
MD (Medicines) & DM(Cardiology)
Dr. Irshad Ahmed Wani joined the cardiac team at ELMC&H, Lucknow in August 2015. He completed his MD in internal, medicine from AMU, Aligarh and DM Cardiology from KGMU Lucknow. His area of special interest is “interventional cardiology”.

Nursing care

A team of well trained and highly skilled nursing staff serve the patients with compassion and respect. They are regularly trained to enhance their skills.

Fully equipped facilities

Advanced cath lab:

Era’s Lucknow Medical college and hospital has the art “advanced cath lab” and is currently carrying out Angiography, coronary angioplasty(PTCA) pace maker and ICD.

Our cardiologist regularly does the aforementioned procedures, and the cardiac cath lab has been operational since August 2015. Additionally, a lab for electrophysiology and paediatric echo and a Cardiac CT-64 slice CT Angiogram is also available.
