A committee dedicated to animal ethics has also been established. Its members are academicians from various fields.
Additionally, a "Institutional Committee for Stem Cell Research & Therapeutics" has also been established.
The Research Cell promotes and coordinates all academic and research efforts of the College. A clinical meeting is conducted on the first Thursday of every month, during which the clinical departments share at least one case of academic and clinical interest. Every third Thursday of the month, faculty members share a summary of research papers submitted by them at a national or international conference, or a summary of their finished research project.
The management has introduced "Intramural Research Grants" in an effort to foster a culture of research among the faculty and for their capacity building in order to acquire extramural grants.
