A state-of-the-art "advanced cath lab" is available at Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, where angiography, coronary angioplasty (PTCA), pacemakers, and ICD procedures are being performed. The Cardiac Cath Lab has been functional since August 2015 and our Cardiologist performs the above procedures regularly. The facility for Pediatric intervention, Pediatric Echo and Electro physiology lab are also available. With our latest CT machine with 400 slices we are able to provide facilities like Cardiac CT, CT Angiogram etc. With our vision i.e. to provide health services to the poorest of poor people of society, we can claim that we are providing services like angioplasty, angiography etc at lowest cost which is 30 to 40 percent lower than the rates being charged by government institutions. Our Cath lab has a novel X-Ray imaging technology that combines advance image processing with state of the art hardware. This unit has a upper hand over other units as it reduces patient dose by 83%, 75% in neuroradiology interventions and in cine images by 53% for coronary angiography while maintaining better image quality. With our patient centric approach, we are trying to make super-specialty services, accessible to the poor.
